The end of October is here and November is approaching. That can only mean one thing...the month of NaNoWriMo is upon us! For those of you who don't know what the heck NaNoWriMo is...it stand for National Novel Writing Month. It's where hundreds of thousands of people around the world attempt to write an entire novel (fifty thousand words) in one month. It happens every November.
I attempted this thing called NaNoWriMo last year since it was all the craze. And...well, I failed. BUT that was only because my story had so many plot holes and well, it didn't have much of a point to it. But NaNoWriMo is coming back around this year and I am so ready. World...get ready for my novel. My novel is called Just a Dying Dream and it's about a girl and a boy who are used as test subjects for a project involving a machine that's been created that has the ability to alter, create, and ultimately allow one to enter their dreams. I wrote thirty thousand words on this novel for Camp NaNoWriMo this April, but I'm going to be re-writing it for NaNo this November and hope to get to the full fifty thousand! I am so excited for this project and I'm hoping to publish it when it's finished and edited. Are you doing NaNoWriMo this year? Have you done it in the past? I'd love to know what you're working on! Let me know in the comments. xx
